​My passion for UX ignited long before I knew the field existed.

 

Being a naturally organised and creative person, I started off complimenting my structured full-time events / office manager role, with the fun iterative process of building brands and responsive (Wix) websites for friends on the weekends.

 

While my Product Design Degree provided a solid foundation in problem solving through user-centred designs, I was eager to understand why I had these ‘gut feelings’ when designing.  *Shining Light*- That’s when I found UX Design!

 

🚀 Dedicating myself to learning and implementing UX methodologies, best practices and measuring business impact, I discovered that the most powerful skill is through empathising with a user and designing for emotional impact, as this will organically affect company goals and determine the product a success.

 

Now, I hope to leverage my passion, design thinking and technical skills with my professional skills ranging from; storytelling and getting buy-in for events, through to collaborating in cross-functional projects, to make a meaningful contribution in every product.​
